Park Assistant Manager

Objective

As a Park Assistant Manager, you play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the park, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. Your responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Park Assistant Managers are the contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire. Must interact with families and children of all ages.

• Attending to guests as quickly as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the park.
• Supervising employees to ensure they perform their job duties satisfactorily and achieve production goals.
• Assisting the Park Manager with training, developing, and auditing.
• Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff.
• Auditing schedules and requests needed approval from the Park Manager.
• Opening and closing the park via using keys or a code.
• Communicating any guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
• Operating the check‑in process by having guests sign the liability waiver and provide guest information (address, name, email, phone) using an iPad.
• Operating the front cash counter for receiving the exact bill amount from guests, managing cash flow by registering transactions daily, taking payment by cash or card, and providing exact change if paid by cash.
• Operating billing transactions accurately by verifying the amount displayed on the POS.
• Organizing the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
• Checking snack inventory is sufficient and ordering snacks from specified vendors to replenish stock.
• Walking the floor regularly to monitor that there are no unsafe hazards present and that guests are following the park attendance rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Cleaning restrooms and sanitizing all park structures, tables, chairs, and playground structures.
• Scheduling and coordinating family events and assisting in operating events efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
• Frequent bilateral hand movements.
• Good finger dexterity.
• Must be able to work in noisy environments created by guests, such as children yelling and music.
• Must be able to tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during peak hours.
• Must be able to work in a tight structure and be comfortable with heights.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
