Talent Manager, Employee Relations
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to the leadership team at a manufacturing site, understanding the unique business conditions and incorporating corporate HR strategy. As the subject matter expert on associate issues, the HRBP serves as a resource for associates and provides expertise on company benefits, compensation, training, and policy interpretation. The HRBP also supports site leadership development.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent compliance with standard work across the year to support customers.
- Work toward zero customer disappointment by meeting deadlines for all project work and providing timely communication.
- Engage deeply with the management team, attending staff meetings and leadership team meetings, and respond quickly to shifting priorities.
- Provide clear, organized information to the business regarding Corporate Human Resource initiatives such as Merit Planning, Organizational Reviews, Promotional Processes, Year‑End Calibration, and Open Enrollment.
- Organize Skip Levels with associates, present themes to leadership, and coach leaders on associate concerns; goal is 1 Skip Level per associate per year.
- Conduct exit interviews for voluntary departures, report back on individual feedback, and build themes for collective feedback.
- Collaborate with business leaders on creation and implementation of HR strategies that support short‑ and long‑term business objectives.
- Investigate associate issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner, and provide management with appropriate advice and counsel.
- Drive performance management throughout the year by coaching management on goal setting, coaching, and feedback.
- Participate in the annual affirmative action planning, compensation and position analysis, and recommend corrections as appropriate.
- Monitor labor needs from workforce planning meetings and execute recruitment processes for the service group.
- Communicate recruiting and staffing updates to the business and participate in the interview process for key positions.
- Facilitate new leaders in "New Leader Assimilation/On‑Boarding" and ensure all onboarding steps are completed.
- Partner with site leadership to create onboarding plans and ensure associates complete required courses.
- Actively manage the Talent Review process, communicate deadlines, and follow up on local talent reviews.
- Conduct regular follow‑up with line leadership to advance development plans and address outstanding actions.
- Support development of a workforce plan that identifies and responds to gaps, partnering with T&D specialists.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development to hire and develop associates aligned with business objectives.
- Required:
• Bachelor's degree
• 3–5 years of professional experience - Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, or business
• 3+ years of human resource experience
Strong computer software skills (MS Office, Org Plus, etc.), interviewing, facilitation, and presentation skills. Excellent oral and written communication. Conflict resolution and relationship management skills. Exceptional customer service, sense of urgency, detailed orientation. Broad organizational knowledge preferred.

- Traverse multiple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed.
