Janitor - 3rd Shift

* POSITION SUMMARY:

** The position of Janitor I is responsible for custodial upkeep of the facility and production equipment. This includes but is not limited to: cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy, and empties trash receptacles.
* Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
* Clean and disinfect equipment.
* Vacuum rugs/ mats.
* Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
* Mix various cleaning agents.
* Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
* Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
* Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
* Move heavy equipment and furniture.
* Powerboss Floor sweeping and mopping.
* Identify and report possible repairs.
* Shovel snow from sidewalks and sprinkle salt on surface.
* Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
* Capacity to take direction
* Strong attention to detail
* Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary

** Must have a High School education or equivalent.
