This role is responsible for developing and driving the North America Consumer Replacement sales strategy with a focus on sustainable revenue growth and profitability. The incumbent is accountable for the delivery of financial results (P&L) for the North America Consumer Replacement business across all channels and will collaborate cross‑functionally to align go‑to‑market strategies while monitoring and assessing market dynamics, competitor actions, and regulatory factors across the region.
The role will provide leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and providing coaching and development to consumer sales leaders across the region, fostering a high‑performance culture and building sales capability.
- Develop and drive the North America Consumer Replacement Sales Strategy – focusing on profitable growth and gaining a competitive advantage in all channels.
- Lead the Consumer Replacement Sales team to find solutions to reach business growth objectives.
- Lead the development of multi‑year customer account plans/strategies to capitalize on growth/profit opportunities – ensuring appropriate alignment and successfully managing Goodyear performance.
- Accountable for the delivery of financial results (P&L) for the Consumer Replacement Sales organization in North America.
- Ensure the Distribution Strategy supports Goodyear’s financial objectives and the needs of the channels.
- Create forward‑looking strategies to improve profitability and drive growth.
- Lead the Sales team to develop cost‑effective solutions for customers that will deliver company growth and EBIT.
- Lead and develop the consumer sales replacement team by building leadership capabilities, supporting professional development, and ensuring the team is equipped to deliver on short and long‑term business objectives.
- Align support functions to deliver end‑to‑end solutions for customers aligned with business strategy that meets short and long‑term strategic needs of the organization.
- 15 or more years of senior sales leadership experience with a deep understanding of the automotive industry and multi‑country business operations.
- 10 or more years of experience working in leadership position(s) – accountable for strategy development and execution.
- Previous experience managing strategic customer relationships.
- Previous experience managing a P&L as part of a business leadership experience.
- Proven track record in building and leading high‑performing sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to profitably grow a business, set/execute a forward‑looking business strategy and deliver results in a fast‑paced and competitive environment.
- Strong business/financial acumen – with a working knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- Strong communication, influencing and motivational skills.
- Inspirational leader able to manage cross‑functional, geographically dispersed teams, creating a vision and inspiring others to action.
