Responsibilities
  • Assemble a wide range of electrical fastening products and components according to work instructions and blueprints/drawings, using hands, machinery, or various hand tools.
  • Complete regular, scheduled quality checks to ensure parts are assembled to company standards.
  • Work individually or as part of a team to assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, and/or package an entire product or component according to Work Instructions.
  • Complete work based on specifications, drawings, job routings, and/or Work Instructions.
  • Select and move production materials as required.
  • Maintain equipment and materials necessary to complete the operation.
  • Meet established safety, quality, and performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Record accurate information on Manufacturing Orders and perform transactions to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
  • Comply with safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S standards; report adverse conditions, non-conforming products or procedures, and 5S violations per escalation procedure.
  • Adhere to department 5S standards daily and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Notify team leader or appropriate resource when problems arise concerning safety, quality, equipment, operations, materials, inventory, or documentation according to escalation procedure.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by performing rotational assignments as needed and participate in continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • Knowledge in use of scales, preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferred
  • Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints, preferred
  • Experience assembling mechanical parts into a finished product, preferred
  • Experience using hand and power tools, preferred
  • Prior experience working in a light industrial facility, preferred
