Electronic Assembler

Job Title: Electronic Assembler-M-Th 6-4:30 PM with OT as needed

• Perform complex assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies for aerospace and defense systems.
• Interpret and follow detailed visual aids, engineering drawings, and written instructions to assemble, modify, or rework units.
• Hand-load and solder PCB assemblies, including fine‑pitch components, following IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards.
• Identify and repair soldering anomalies, working with both lead and lead‑free solder under a microscope.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices.
• Participate in off‑site training to maintain industry certifications as required.
• Actively contribute ideas for process improvement and operational excellence.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Certification to IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify electronic component values.
• Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a self‑starter who can plan, execute, and complete tasks independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Hollister, CA for a month for training at the start of your employment.
