Job Description & How to Apply Below
A manufacturing company is seeking a Final Integration and Test Technician to join their team. This is a hands‑on technical position that tests complex inspection systems to ensure quality standards are met prior to shipment to our customers, and assemble, test, troubleshoot, and adjust a combination of mechanical, electronic, software, and camera components. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality by verifying system performance, with a primary focus on camera and lighting alignment across multiple inspection modules.
You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Assemble, configure, and integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into complete systems and load and verify system software, firmware, and configuration files
- Ensure all sub‑assemblies from Production are correctly installed and properly connected
- Execute standardized functional, performance, and regression test procedures on finished systems, with emphasis on camera and lighting alignment across multiple modules
- Verify system behavior against engineering specifications and acceptance criteria and identify, isolate, and document defects or deviations in hardware, software, or calibration
- Perform precision alignment of sensors, cameras, optics, motion systems, or other critical components depending on system type
- Calibrate system parameters to meet required tolerances and quality standards and validate system accuracy, repeatability, and stability
- Diagnose integration issues across mechanical, electrical, and software domains and work with Engineering and Production to resolve non‑conformances
- Perform minor rework, adjustments, or replacements as needed to bring systems into specification
- Complete test reports, checklists, and quality documentation for each system
- Record failures, root causes, and corrective actions in tracking systems and ensure compliance with internal quality standards and ISO or other regulatory requirements
- Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Project Engineering, and Shipping teams, elevate systemic issues or recurring defects to engineering teams, and provide feedback on design or manufacturing issues that impact testability or reliability
- Confirm systems are fully tested, calibrated, and packaged for shipment, verify customer‑specific configurations, options, or software builds, and ensure systems meet final acceptance criteria before release to logistics/shipping
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations
