Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform complex assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies for aerospace and defense systems.
- Interpret and follow detailed visual aids, engineering drawings, and written instructions to assemble, modify, or rework units.
- Hand‑load and solder PCB assemblies, including fine‑pitch components, following IPC‑J‑STD and IPC‑D‑610 standards.
- Identify and repair soldering anomalies, working with both lead and lead‑free solder under a microscope.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices.
- Participate in offsite training to maintain industry certifications as required.
- Actively contribute ideas for process improvement and operational excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 3–5 years of J‑STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Certification to IPC‑J‑STD and IPC‑D‑610 standards or willingness to obtain.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify electronic component values.
- Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self‑starter who can plan, execute, and complete tasks independently.
- Willingness and ability to travel to Hollister, CA for a month for training at the start of employment.

Bonus or Equity:
Eligible for a bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range: 16.11 – 29.86 (local currency).

Ongoing employment is dependent upon obtaining the appropriate government export authorizations.
