Position Summary:

Manufacturing Engineer, RFID Label Conversion

• Develop, implement and/or improve RFID label conversion processing in a fast-paced, high technology, electronics assembly environment and provide manufacturing capability to meet or exceed product quality, quantity, and cost requirements.

• B.S. or B.A. degree in Engineering discipline (preferably Industrial or Mechanical)
• One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment

• Review new product designs for manufacturability
• Evaluate, purchase, install & qualify new production equipment
• Work with customers and/or vendors on process transfers
• Program automated label conversion and inspection equipment.
• Propose changes for cost savings, yield, & productivity improvements
• Research latest technologies in relation to capability improvements
• Train manufacturing personnel on assembly procedures
• Provide technical support to sales & marketing teams for change requests
• Other duties as assigned

• Demonstrated understanding of basic engineering fundamentals
• Familiarity with laminating, die cutting, and roll to roll processing is a must.
• Experience with basic quality tools
• Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work in a Cleanroom, Class 1000+
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Superior organization and problem-solving skills
