Granex Industries is seeking a CNC Operator Trainee to join our fast‑paced stone‑fabrication shop. This unique role will rotate between our Robotic Sawjet Department and CNC Router Department, learning to operate and program both types of CNC‑controlled machinery. We will provide full, hands‑on training for the right candidate who is motivated, detail‑oriented, and ready for physical work in a loud production environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation & Programming
Train to operate and program a Baca robotic sawjet (CNC‑guided).
Train to operate a Northwood CNC router for stone counter top fabrication.
Material Handling & Physical Work
Safely push, pull, lift, and maneuver heavy stone slabs.
Crouch, bend, and reach as needed to set up and run equipment.
Quality & Organization
Follow shop tickets and production schedules with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain a clean, orderly workspace to ensure safe, smooth operations.
Communicate and work well with team members across both departments.
Adhere to all OSHA and company safety policies, including PPE and machine‑safety protocols.

Requirements & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Strong work ethic and reliability in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis.
Comfort working in a loud, wet‑fabrication environment

Basic computer and math skills; interest in learning CNC programming
.
Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
