CNC Grinder – 2nd Shift

A high-precision job shop in Solon is looking to add a CNC Grinder to its second shift team. This is a hands-on role in a clean, climate-controlled facility specializing in tight-tolerance, low-volume work for industries such as aerospace, medical, and defense.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC OD/ (Studer, Kellenberger, etc.)
• Work from blueprints and process sheets to achieve tight tolerances
• Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, comparators, and other precision instruments
• Perform in-process checks and final inspections to ensure part quality
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety protocols

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with CNC OD/ and holding tolerances within .0002"
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality craftsmanship
• Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and contribute to a small, skilled team
• Manual grinding experience is a plus
