Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
A Manufacturing Inventory Clerk tracks and reconciles stock, supplies materials to production lines, and ensures raw materials and finished goods are organized, accounted for, and put away in their proper place to prevent production delays.
Essential Functions- Inventory Control & Auditing:
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory to reconcile records. Investigate and report any discrepancies. - Receiving & Shipping:
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and check for damage. Process outbound shipments and kitted assemblies. - Material Handling:
Pull and pack components based on work orders and deliver goods to the appropriate manufacturing or assembly areas. - Systems Management:
Enter receiving, issuing, and transferring data into MRP/ERP systems. - Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items.
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, machinery, and workstations clean and organized. Ensuring all materials are in their proper place.
- Update the ERP system as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Basic math skills and computer skills
- Ability to read & write in English
- Comprehension of written instructions
- Attention to details
- Ability to work in the company’s ERP system
- An ability to safely operate equipment and necessary tools
- Prior experience or certification with material handling equipment (such as a forklift or pallet jack) is highly preferred.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to varying temperatures. The environment is an active plant with continuous noises from equipment inside the plant.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and possible climbing all day. The employee must be able to lift and or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
PositionType and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. (Subject to change based on business demands)

RequiredEducation and Experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English (Required)
- High School diploma or GED
- Be able to continuously lift 50+ pounds
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Comply with all company safety rules and guidelines
- Team player; volunteer to help where needed to get job done, and enhance skills
