A growing manufacturer is seeking a Chemist to join its technical team. This position offers the opportunity to work on new product development while supporting manufacturing, quality, and regulatory initiatives. You'll play a key role in bringing products from concept through production by applying laboratory expertise, troubleshooting manufacturing challenges, and ensuring products meet quality and compliance standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on laboratory work with cross-functional collaboration in a growing manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and refine formulations for both new and existing products.
  • Design and perform laboratory testing to evaluate product performance, stability, and compatibility.
  • Assist with transitioning products from laboratory development into commercial production.
  • Document formulations, testing results, and technical findings with a high level of accuracy.
  • Evaluate raw materials and participate in qualification of new suppliers when needed.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and commercial teams to support product launches and ongoing improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance during production and help resolve formulation or processing issues.
  • Analyze quality concerns, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that increase product consistency, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to products and regulatory compliance, including safety documentation.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations.
What We re Looking For
  • Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or another related STEM discipline.
  • Experience developing or modifying formulations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with analytical laboratory equipment and testing methods.
  • Knowledge of chemical safety, regulatory requirements, and documentation practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with aerosol or pressurized chemical products.
  • Exposure to batch manufacturing, blending, or industrial production processes.
