We're looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a precision manufacturing operation in Solon. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on keeping CNC machine tools running, reliable, and production-ready
.
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and machining centers
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, motor, electronic, and control issues
- Troubleshoot CNC controls, PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, servo motors, and spindle motors
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleanings, and scheduled machine service
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Assist with machine installations, relocations, and OEM service work
- Support general facility maintenance as needed
- Occasionally operate production equipment when maintenance work is caught up
- Industrial maintenance experience in a CNC machine shop, tool & die, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience maintaining or repairing CNC machine tools
- Working knowledge of PLCs, CNC controls, motors, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, machine manuals, and technical documentation
- Self-motivated technician who can diagnose problems and work independently
