Position: Activity Director (Full Time)

Job Title

Resident Services Director

Full Time.

Location:

Cleveland, Ohio. Starting Salary: $52,000–$65,000. Shift: Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm, weekend Manager on Duty 10 am‑2 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Be a Culture Creator – set the tone of community events and resident engagement.
  • Host with the Most – develop, run, and maintain a quality activities program that enriches lives of seniors.
  • Heart of the Community – know each resident, their likes/dislikes, and ensure daily engagement and satisfaction through compassionate, first‑class service.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum one year experience conducting group activities, evaluating resident needs, supervising employees, and training volunteers.
  • Knowledge of care and supervision requirements appropriate to residents.
  • English reading, writing, and speaking at 12th‑grade proficiency.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and apply practical problem‑solving skills.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Criminally cleared.
  • Good health and mentally capable of performing tasks; health screening required within six months prior or seven days following employment, free from pulmonary tuberculosis.
  • Clean driving record per insurer policy.
  • Specific state‑required chauffeur class license if applicable.
