The Davey Tree Expert Company is looking to add a dynamic Landscape Trainee to our team, handling planned landscaping operations and maintaining grounds and landscape at private, governmental, or business residences.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform plant, trim, mow, weed, mulch, and related duties.
• Diagnose insect, disease, and turf and shrub conditions.
• Communicate landscape needs with management and clients.
• Drive, use, maintain, and operate equipment safely.

• Love of the outdoors.
• Preferred:
  Background in Forestry, Horticulture, or Landscaping.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of turf, weed, tree and shrub identification, pathology, and turf or tree physiology.
• Ability to complete the Davey Landscape career development books upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred:
  Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Preferred:
  Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law.
