POSITION SUMMARY

The main purpose of the job is to confirm proper satisfaction and documentation of quality release criteria for all assigned materials, as specified by the Quality Expert, and to un‑restrict batches that fully comply with release criteria in a timely manner. The role maintains records supporting release decisions, resolves documentation discrepancies, and supports logistics and deployment staff by researching and resolving material release issues to ensure timely shipment.

It manages accurate release requirements, inventory synchronization issues, traceability, product returns, inventory expiry, SharePoint and document control updates, audits, and compliance with Nestlé policies and applicable regulations. Additionally, the position develops technical skills in contract manufacturing factories, collaborates with cross‑functional teams for continuous improvement, tracks site audit requirements, and supports on‑site assessments and vendor approvals.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Confirm proper satisfaction and documentation of quality release criteria for all assigned materials and un‑restrict compliant batches in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records supporting the release or blocked status of each batch.
  • Resolve discrepancies in release documentation and batch information, including bad batch receipts at distribution centers and warehouses.
  • Research and resolve material release issues to support timely shipment; run availability reports to ensure receipt processing times are met.
  • Accurately resolve inventory synchronization issues related to release and/block status.
  • Create batches to clear IDOC failures and maintain documentation for batch creation; update status accordingly.
  • Monitor and resolve batch holds, product returns, blocked stock, and expired inventory at CoMan.
  • Serve as backup for the CoMan Product Manual SharePoint administrator and update document control systems.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites for Contract Manufacturing Quality and update training manuals and sections.
  • Create and process GR invoices for Kosher certification as directed by the Quality Expert.
  • Run monthly open inspection lot reports, research and close open inspection lots in SAP.
  • Support quarterly PRC calls, maintain Teams NUSA Product Release Coordinator site, and manage group membership.
  • Maintain end‑of‑year COS data in NCMQ and other SharePoint sites for audit availability.
  • Build technical capability in contract manufacturing factories and develop understanding of compliance to Nestlé policies and regulations.
  • Develop and use TPM, NCE, and quality tools to analyze trends and plan continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturing managers to lead site improvements, reduce defects and complaints.
  • Track and analyze Coman site audit requirements and prepare completion status reports and ad‑hoc reports.
  • Travel to contract manufacturing sites for on‑site support of projects, continuous improvement activities, and vendor approvals.
  • Upload and ensure accuracy of site information in QIR, VAM, SMI, NCITES, and SAP systems.
  • Ensure accurate risk and hazard data in VAM through collaboration with quality managers.
  • Support collaboration with stakeholders and perform other duties related to the quality function.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of inventory experience and/or food safety management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Well‑organized, methodical thinking.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of driving problem resolution.
  • Strong creative problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple demands, manage time well, and work in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word).
  • Ability to learn SAP transactions (VAM, VSI).
  • Ability to maintain SharePoint documents.
  • Ability to work independently.
