Join the heart of our kitchen operation! As a Dishwasher at Miles Farmers Market, you’ll keep things running smoothly by ensuring our kitchen and prep areas are clean, sanitized, and well-organized. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to the success of our culinary departments, supporting our chefs and prep cooks so they can focus on delivering the high-quality foods our customers love.
Job DescriptionOur Dishwashers help ensure our kitchen and prep areas stay spotless—handling everything from dishwashing and sweeping to sanitizing workstations and mopping floors.
This position is a great fit for someone dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn. There are also opportunities to assist with food prep, including tasks like breading and frying chicken or learning the basics of prep from our experienced culinary team.
- Operate commercial dishwasher and clean equipment, utensils, and prep tools
- Wash items using a three-compartment sink and follow sanitization procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and hand-washing guidelines
- Assist with light prep work as needed, including breading and frying chicken
- Full-time (5 days/week), including weekends and holidays
- Competitive pay: $13–$16/hour, based on experience
