As a Meat & Seafood Clerk, you’ll play a key role in providing knowledgeable, friendly, and fast service—helping customers find exactly what they need for tonight’s dinner or their next big celebration.

Our clerks are the face of the Meat & Seafood Department, providing hands-on service that truly sets us apart. Whether you’re helping a grill master find the perfect cut of steak or packaging fresh Atlantic salmon for a family dinner, you’ll be delivering the high-touch service we’re known for.
What You’ll Do- Assist customers by taking orders, answering product questions, and offering recommendations on meats, seafood, and house-made specialties
- Wrap, weigh, label, and merchandise a variety of fresh meats and seafood items
- Stock product throughout the day to maintain a full and appealing display
- Help maintain department cleanliness and uphold food safety standards
- Full-time or part-time available
- Competitive starting pay: $14–$16/hour, based on experience
- Requires weekday, weekend and holiday availability
- We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Easter, with shortened hours on summer holidays

While previous experience in meat, seafood, or customer service is a plus, it’s not required. We’re happy to train individuals who are eager to learn. Your training starts directly with the Meat Department Manager, followed by hands-on learning with senior clerks. Most new team members are confidently handling basic tasks by the end of their first shift—and always have support as they grow.

- How to handle and wrap raw meat and seafood
- How to identify different cuts of meat and types of fish
- Basic food safety, sanitation, and merchandising practices
- How to offer excellent customer service at the counter
