We are seeking a driven, high-energy Outside Sales Representative to expand market presence within industrial and manufacturing markets. This is a true "hunter" role focused on prospecting, developing new business, and closing deals in industrial B2B environments.
This is not an account management position. We are looking for an ambitious sales professional earlier in their career who is motivated by winning new business, building a territory, and making a measurable impact.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong industrial sales fundamentals who wants more ownership, visibility, and long-term growth potential within a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do- Prospect and develop new B2B business opportunities across industrial and manufacturing markets
- Build pipeline through cold outreach, networking, field activity, and relationship development
- Sell into plant environments, operations teams, distributors, and technical buyers
- Identify new applications and growth opportunities within target markets
- Manage the sales process from initial outreach through close
- Execute against revenue and growth targets with urgency and accountability
- Maintain strong follow-through, pipeline visibility, and forecasting discipline
- 3–8 years of B2B sales experience
- Experience in industrial sales environments such as manufacturing, chemicals, industrial distribution, lubricants, coatings, materials, or related markets
- Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and close new business
- Hunter mentality with a strong drive for business development and revenue growth
- Experience carrying a quota or revenue target
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales role
- Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel 20–30%
- Naturally proactive and competitive
- Energized by opening new doors and winning business
- Comfortable creating opportunities instead of relying on inbound leads
- Brings urgency, persistence, and accountability
- Wants career growth and increased responsibility over time
- Career account managers focused primarily on maintaining existing business
- Candidates without B2B sales experience
