Overnight Security Officer (Cleveland Regional Office) Job Skills / Requirements

• Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer
• Location: Solon, OH
• Schedule: Friday/Saturday 11:00 pm-7:00 am
• Pay: $16.00 per hour

• Conduct security patrols (walking, vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle).
• Monitor and identify security risks, hazards, and emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies according to company policies and post orders.
• Write detailed incident and activity reports.
• Provide customer service and interact professionally with visitors, employees, and clients.
• Perform site‑specific security functions such as:
• Lobby/reception security
• Visitor management
• Elevator and access control monitoring
• Follow company procedures, attendance requirements, and grooming standards.
• Participate in required training and orientation programs.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong written communication skills for report writing.
• Ability to remain professional and use sound judgment in stressful situations.
• Strong customer service and de‑escalation skills.

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of work experience.
• Security, law enforcement, military, or customer service background.
• College coursework in security‑related fields.
• Experience in security operations or scheduling.

• HS Diploma
• GED or H.S. Equivalent

• OH Guard Card
