Field Service Technician - Cleveland, OH
A Cleveland, Ohio area manufacture is recruiting a skilled Field Service Technician. In this role, you will serve as the face of the company, handling the installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of advanced industrial equipment directly at customer sites. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality installation, routine maintenance, and complex repairs of industrial equipment at various customer locations.
- Accurately log service data, upload field photos, and complete action tickets within the company's ERP system in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify and communicate customer training needs and new product opportunities to the internal product development team.
- Provide in-house technical support, including repairing/maintaining internal units and assisting with technical writing/documentation.
- Assist the production department with equipment builds, testing, and assembly as needed to meet shifting customer demands.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Technology OR a relevant Technical School Certificate.
- Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated experience as a Field Service Technician or Field Service Engineer.
- Technical
Skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and installation manuals. Strong general knowledge of electronics, electrical circuitry, wiring, programming, and mechanical troubleshooting. Plumbing knowledge is a strong plus. - Solid computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to travel 50-75% domestically. Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record.
