Warehouse Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Overview

Receiving Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately putting away product in designated locations throughout the Distribution Center. Operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners to complete duties.

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40 ft in the air.
• Utilize RF scanners to identify and locate product.
• Load staged product from dock area onto cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift into proper location on storage racks.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals.
• Contribute to a company culture of honesty, integrity, diversity, and community.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• General understanding of warehouse or distribution center operations.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures required for the position.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.

• Starting hourly pay $20.00 – $22.00/hr based on experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40 ft in the air.
• Work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
• Effective communication skills with comprehension and written communication.
• At least 18 years old.

• Capable of moving items up to 50 lbs and objects up to 250 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously: 90% standing/walking, 5% sitting, 5% desk or phone work.
