Warehouse Lead

Mattress Firm is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations supporting our nationwide retail network. In this on-site role, you will coordinate receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to stores and customers. You'll lead and schedule a small team of associates, monitor KPIs, and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits. The Warehouse Lead enforces safety standards, operates material handling equipment, and continuously improves processes while modeling Mattress Firm's customer-first, performance-driven culture and supporting team training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping
• Lead, schedule, and coach warehouse associates to meet productivity and accuracy goals
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and variance resolution
• Ensure safe operations, compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, and proper equipment use
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with stores, carriers, and distribution partners
• Monitor KPIs and report on productivity, accuracy, and on-time performance
• Optimize warehouse layout, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and system transactions in WMS/ERPSupport training, onboarding, and performance feedback for warehouse team members
