This is a full-time, on-site Design Assistant role based in Somers Point, NJ. The Design Assistant will support cabinetry design projects from concept through completion, helping prepare design presentations, as well as helping out in the showroom, which includes greeting clients at the door, answering phones, and maintaining showroom appearance. The role also involves coordinating with vendors, assisting with client meetings, responding to client inquiries, and providing follow-up support.

The Design Assistant will help with project documentation, basic measurements, graphic layouts, and general administrative tasks needed to keep design projects organized and on schedule.

• Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Proficiency or familiarity with CAD programs for creating and updating drawings and floor plans for kitchens and/or baths i.e. AutoCAD/Sketchup/Revit/Photoshop/Chief Architect
• Graphic design skills to assist with visual presentations and layouts.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work on site in Somers Point, NJ and participate in in-person client meetings and installations as needed.
• Proficiency with common office and design-related software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Relevant education or training in interior design, architecture, graphic design, or a related field is preferred.
