Part Time Advanced Practice Provider – Join our growing academic electrophysiology (EP) practice in southern New Jersey as part of the prestigious Penn Cardiac Care team. This role provides quality care in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and members of the multidisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include cardioversions, pacemaker and ICD interrogations, pre‑ and post‑procedure management of advanced arrhythmia patients, consults, clinical decision‑making and patient management, including antiarrhythmic pharmacotherapy and patient/family education.
The service covers clinics in southern New Jersey (Somers Point, Cape May, Vineland) and includes inpatient and outpatient components. Training and support for success will be provided.
All Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants function under the guidelines designed by the University of Pennsylvania Health System medical staff and are credentialed through that body. The CRNP or PA hired will be held accountable through a formal job description, delineation of privileges, and a Collaborative Practice Agreement with the supervising physician. All clinical work hours and associated requirements will be defined and managed under the direction of the collaborating physician/division designee and within Human Resource guidelines.
Schedule
: 10‑hour shifts – weekdays.
- 400 A‑Fib ablations
- 200 SVT/VT ablations
- 700 device implants
- 150 Watchman procedures
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a Master’s degree, current licensure or eligibility for licensure, and eligibility for credentialing by the medical board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), as required for providers in the ambulatory setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), for providers in the acute care setting.
- State CRNP licensure or Physician Assistant licensure in the state where work is performed.
- PA and/or New Jersey Prescriptive Authority will be needed at time of hire.
- Preference to candidates with experience; if new to Advanced Practice, prior experience in Cardiology is preferred.
- The APP must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board before the start date.
- Master's Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing or Physician Assistant with a Master’s Degree required.

Salary Range$83,200.00 – $ annually based on 40 hours per week. Successful candidates will receive a specific rate that considers experience and education.
