Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for an 8‑week travel assignment in Somers Point, New Jersey. The role involves continuous cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care for individuals with cardiac conditions.

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
• NIHSS certification
• Additional certifications and licenses may be required

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac‑related procedures and examinations
• Maintains awareness of patients’ comfort and safety needs
• Observes patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patients’ cardiac status and response to interventions
• Responds to life‑saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols specific to cardiac emergencies
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans according to individualized needs, focusing on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for telemetry patients
• Maintains confidentiality of patients and client information
• Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
• Adheres to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• Strong English language reading, writing, and communication abilities
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
• Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel and present a positive attitude and professionalism
• Technical/motor skills: grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures and departmental equipment
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without close supervision, and maintain concentration to detail
• Sensory: possess visual acuity and effective communication
