Faculty (Part Time) - Public Health (Somerset, Kentucky)
Western Kentucky University (WKU) is accepting applications to build a pool of instructors for any current or future part‑time assignments in Public Health. We are seeking part‑time faculty for day and evening classes at the Somerset, Kentucky location.
ResponsibilitiesTeach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Public Health, including preparing lesson plans, delivering instruction (in person and/or online), grading, and providing academic support to students in day and evening classes.
QualificationsA master’s degree in the discipline (or closely related field) is required for teaching undergraduate‑level courses; a terminal degree is required for teaching graduate‑level courses. Prior teaching experience and experience with online education is desirable.
Additional InformationKentucky state law requires all public institutions of postsecondary education to conduct pre‑employment criminal background checks to determine suitability for employment.
