Registered Nurse (RN) CVU
Bonus: $20,000 two-year commitment (one year commitment on nights)
Nights | Full Time | Rotating Weekends | 6:30-7:00 | Self Scheduling
How you'll contribute- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
- Documents patient care provided.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. - Exposure:
Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is present for all employees. - Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

- Associate’s degree in nursing required, bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or a current active multistate license.
- BCLS required; ACLS, PALS.
- Handle with Care preferred.
