Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Overflow

Position Highlights

Bonus: $20,000 two‑year commitment (one year commitment on nights)

Nights | Full Time | 6:30-7:00 | Rotating Weekends

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
  • Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Associate's degree in nursing required, bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
License/Certifications
  • Current RN license in state of practice.
  • BCLS required. ACLS PALS.
  • Handle with Care preferred.
