Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in other departments. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Other duties as assigned.

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a compact state.
• Required certifications must be obtained through a LCRH approved program:
• Current BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
• Current ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
• Current PALS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
• NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date.
• Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
