Position Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool with a $20,000 two‑year commitment bonus (one‑year night commitment required). Nights | Full Time | 6:30–7:00 | Rotating Weekends.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process within applicable scope and standards across multiple inpatient units.
- Float where needed and collaborate with interprofessional teams to support safe, high‑quality care.
- Perform plan‑of‑care interventions (medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and related medical care).
- Document care provided in a timely, accurate manner.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
- Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
- Display initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial/spiritual support).
- Assess learning needs; provide age‑ and culture‑appropriate patient/family education.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Participate in performance improvement and required education; work other shifts/units as needed and may take on‑call assignments.

- Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- 1–2 years minimum bedside RN experience; 2–4 years critical care experience preferred.
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred;
Handle with Care preferred.
- Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments.
- Rapid learning and navigation of multiple clinical software systems.
- Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).
- Complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
- Complete a Cardiac Rhythms Test within 30 days of hire.
