Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Expanded Practice Medical Surgical

Commitment Bonus: $10,000 – two‑year commitment.

Nights | Full Time | 6:30–7:00 – Rotating Weekends.

As an LPN on our team you will provide direct patient care while contributing to comprehensive, high‑quality outcomes in a supportive, collaborative environment.

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with scope and standards of practice, as supervised and delegated by a registered nurse.
• Collect data for assessment and assist the RN in developing a plan of care.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and elimination.
• Monitor and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with the RN, physician, patient, and family.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and adapt to flexible shifts and units as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Patient Populations Served:
  Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
• Protected Health Information Accessed:
  Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
• Exposure:
  Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is present for all employees.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Certifications:
  
  BCLS required;
