Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Float Pool
Commitment Bonus: $10,000 for a two-year commitment of employment.
Schedule:
3x 12s, Night Shift 6:30/7:00, rotating weekends.
- Supervised and delegated by a Registered Nurse, provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Contribute to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
- Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.
- Document patient care provided.
- Assist RN with development of plan of care.
- Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts/units as needed.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is present for all employees.
Physical Requirements- Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.

- Education:
graduate of accredited LPN program. - License: current LPN license in state of practice.
- Experience:
1-2 years minimum bedside RN experience required. - Certification: BCLS required;
Handle with Care preferred.
