Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is a modern, state‑of‑the‑art 295‑bed acute care facility, offering an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation amongst other specialty services.

A Occupational Health Technician (OHT) who excels in this role:

• Perform Drug Screens both in clinic and on‑site settings.
• Perform Breath and Alcohol Test in clinic and on‑site settings.
• Demonstrate competency in department specific technical skills.
• Maintain required certification.
• Prepare the patient for examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
• Stock and clean examination rooms.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate medical records.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population specific needs of the patients served.

Applicants should have two (2) or more years’ experience in drug testing or as a medical technician. Additional requirements include:

• Knowledge of drug screening rules and regulations is desirable.
• DATIA Certified Professional Collector, and Lifeloc Certified Breath Alcohol Technician or certified in twelve (12) months after hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
