Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities coast to coast. You will be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Rehabilitation Unit at our 295‑bed facility in Somerset, Kentucky.

$20,000 for a two‑year commitment.

• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains reliable attendance and performs other duties as assigned.

Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Current RN license in the state of Kentucky.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS preferred.
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
