American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric RN with at least 3 years of experience for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring PALS, NRP, and BLS certifications.

• Work in the Pediatric Care Unit of a 295-bed acute care hospital
• 8-bed unit caring for pediatric patients from newborn to 17 years old
• Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 depending on acuity
• Common diagnoses include failure to thrive, hyperbilirubinemia, bronchiolitis, RSV, respiratory distress, N/V, and post-operative T&A care
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• 13-week assignment on night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend requirement of 2 weekend shifts per month (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Floating required to mother/baby and well-baby units

• Active RN license (KY or Compact)
• Required certifications: PALS, NRP, and BLS
• Minimum 3 years of pediatric nursing experience required
• RN degree/education required
• Strong assessment skills with ability to multitask in a self-motivated manner

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with a range of acute conditions
• Royal blue scrubs required per facility dress code
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
