American Traveler is hiring a NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of Level 2 Special Care Nursery or higher NICU experience and KY or compact RN licensure.

• Work in an 8-bed Special Care Level 2 Nursery within an acute care hospital
• Patient population includes full term, early term, and pre-term neonates
• Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
• Common diagnoses/treatments include NAS/NOWS, TTN, IV antibiotics, Bubble CPAP, and OG/NG feeds
• Uses Meditech/GE Centricity EHR
• 12-hour day shifts from 7am-7pm
• 2 weekend shifts per month required
• No call requirements
• Float requirements to Mother/Baby Postpartum

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Required certifications: NRP, STABLE, and BLS
• Minimum 2 years of Level 2 Special Care Nursery or higher NICU experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Attend deliveries and initiate/run NRP resuscitation as needed
• Dress code requires royal blue or hospital-issued OR scrubs; hoodies and sweatshirts not permitted
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Must not be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
