Position Overview:
The ADHD Specialist is responsible for compliantly meeting and striving to exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives by executing territory-specific sales strategies to drive utilization in their defined geography.
Responsibilities:- Achieve territory sales goals/targets quarterly and/or annually.
- Use best-business opportunities and resources (call activity, speaker programs, payer access tools, etc.); engage customers (HCPs and staff) via face-to-face, virtual, or phone.
- Analyze market dynamics and execute against trends impacting the business.
- Develop and execute territory business plans and call plans aligned with territory and national objectives.
- Maintain awareness of local and national payer access and identify pull-through opportunities.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of disease state, treatment approaches, competition, and product to serve as a resource.
- Partner with internal/external stakeholders to remove barriers to access.
- Participate in industry meetings, conventions, and exhibits as necessary.
- Leverage a selling model to build a call continuum with logical steps to gain commitment and action.
- Take ownership by resolving challenges and building customer- and organization-considerate solutions.
- Set high personal and group goals; use measurements to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Use business tools and strategic/critical thinking to build business/call plans.
- Ensure customer perspective drives decisions; craft and implement service practices to meet needs.
- Use appropriate interpersonal styles/communication to gain acceptance of products/services/ideas.
- Adhere to compliance standards, company policies, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-4 years pharmaceutical sales or equivalent life sciences sales; specialty sales experience strongly preferred (neuroscience/psychiatry; ADHD/pediatric psychiatry).
- Strong account-based selling with demonstrated success.
- Knowledge of strategies/tactics for local formulary pull-through.
- Understanding of prior authorization; experience partnering with providers/office personnel on manufacturer-sponsored market access programs preferred.
- Valid driver's license and insurable.
$115,000 USD - $150,000 USD
