Equipment Operator - Utility
Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, is looking for an equipment operator in Bethelridge, Burnside, Monticello, and Somerset, Kentucky. This position works hand in hand with the laborer position to complete jobs. The successful candidates will be energetic, dependable, and self-motivated people, who can work in a busy atmosphere. Experience operating a front-end loader is required. This position will report directly to the Site Foreman.
Position requirements include the ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment, familiarity with equipment manuals, communication with the Foreman, performing daily pre-start up procedures, keeping equipment clean, following directions, operating service equipment, performing regular maintenance, and physical labor such as shoveling. The position also requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum qualifications include at least five years of experience, passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, passing a pre-employment "Fit for Work" physical, providing valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document, displaying a professional and courteous attitude, reporting to work on time, working long hours when required, strictly adhering to safety requirements, having the willingness to work in a team environment, completing safe driver training, possessing a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and having great attention to detail and stress tolerance.
