Job DescriptionJOB GOAL:
To work with students with ASD and/or emotional needs within the general education environment or in a sub-separate classroom.
- 1.Works with elementary students with special needs and supports them in instructional and non-instructional settings, as directed by the special education teacher.
- 2.Assist with peer interactions during unstructured times during the school day, i.e. recess, lunch.
- 3. Communicate with general education teachers any special information they need to know.
- 4. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about the students as is expected of a fully licensed teacher.
- 5. Perform related duties as directed by the building principal and/or the Director of Special Education.
Salary: $16 to $16 Per Hour

Job Requirements- QUALIFICATIONS:
AS Degree or - 48 Undergraduate Credit hours or
- Passing grade on the Para Pro or other State Assessment for Paraprofessionals
- Background in Special Education preferred or willingness to participate in training
- Experience working with students with emotional and learning needs
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
