The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product and process quality across aerospace precision manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with manufacturing, customers, and suppliers to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and a Zero Defects / Right First Time culture. The Quality Engineer plays a key role in quality planning, problem resolution, and the ongoing enhancement of Quality Management Systems.
Responsibilities- Analyze product and process data to drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection Plans, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and FAIR (AS9102).
- Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities and support MRB and nonconformance management.
- Serve as the quality interface with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Support new product/process launches and ongoing operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing quality.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, customer specifications, and quality tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and customer requirement interpretation skills.
