Location:

Bristol CT

Duration: 9 Months

Responsibilities:

• Partner with our architecture, data development and application development teams to create relational and dimensional data structures for data management solutions.
• Develop and maintain various data subject area data models for Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store and Data Marts.
• Define relationships and touch points between data subject areas.
• Gap analysis.
• Analyze complex data structures
• Compose accurate and complete definitions for entities and attributes
• Perform source system analysis and data profiling
• Design and validate data solutions which are achieved through the application of industry proven architectural principles, standards and governance.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working as an Data Warehouse Data Modeler / Architect.
• Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent work experience
• Experience in building complex, large scale logical data models with Erwin, E/R Studio, or another data modeling tool
• Experience in relational and dimensional schemas for Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Experience in data modeling (physical and logical), ER diagrams, data dictionary, data mapping
• Experience in Data Architecture and Database design
• Experience with database technologies (e.g. Oracle)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure with the below technologies and / or skills will be considered a plus:
• Oracle 11G, Data movement architectural patterns, and a thorough understanding of system development life cycles.
• Experience in data modeling, data mapping, and data architecture is desirable.
