Prime Engine Accessories LLC. is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented MRO Electrical Technician to perform the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, modification, and certification of aircraft electrical harnesses, wiring assemblies, and avionics components in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, repair station procedures, and quality standards. The technician ensures all work is performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with Part 145 Repair Station requirements.

This is a unique opportunity to join a newly launched FAA Part 145 repair station in its early startup phase. As we build a world‑class MRO operation from the ground up, we are looking for technicians who are not only technically capable but also adaptable, self‑motivated, and comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment. A high degree of ownership, initiative, and tolerance for ambiguity is essential to succeed in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft wiring harnesses and avionics components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, maintenance manuals, and technical publications.
  • Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing using electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Assemble, terminate, splice, route, and repair aircraft wiring and cable assemblies.
  • Identify and correct wiring discrepancies, damaged conductors, connector issues, and component failures.
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections as required.
  • Complete repair documentation, work orders, inspection records, and traceability requirements accurately.
  • Utilize ERP and maintenance tracking systems to document labor and material transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, OEM, and company quality requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing objectives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve technical issues and improve repair processes.
Qualifications Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school or vocational training in Avionics, Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in avionics, electronics repair, aircraft wiring, or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, avionics components, connectors, and wiring harness assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency using multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipot testers, continuity testers, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Strong soldering, crimping, wire termination, and connector assembly skills.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, repair station procedures, and aerospace quality standards.
  • Ability to identify root causes of component and wiring failures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or maintenance software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to perform detailed work involving small components and wiring assemblies.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary for precision assembly and inspection work.
Preferred Certifications
  • FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant Certificate
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
  • IPC J-STD-001 Certification
  • Military or OEM avionics training certifications
