Job Opportunity

RN Registered Nurse Supervisor

Shift Availability
  • Monday – Friday 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • Part‑time 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.
  • Per diem all shifts
Responsibilities
  • Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities to guarantee residents receive high‑quality care consistently.
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Director to devise nursing operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.
  • Coordinate nursing activities in alignment with medical requirements, physician directives, and care plans.
  • Manage and direct charge nurses to ensure residents receive proper care.
  • Adjust care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs.
  • Assume full responsibility for operating decisions in the absence of superiors.
  • Ensure adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notify residents’ physicians of significant changes in condition or urgent care needs.
Qualifications
  • Current state RN license and good standing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow through, and priority management skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and willingness to assist others.
  • Preference for long‑term care experience.
  • Knowledge of general rehabilitative, restorative nursing, and long‑term care laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Additional Expectations

All RN Supervisor positions require weekend on‑call availability to support staff and residents. Per diem staff are expected to provide two weekend shifts per month.
