Position Summary

As an Associate Tech Support Analyst on the Pharmscript Support team, you will provide critical Level 1 technical support and issue resolution across specialized pharmacy technology environments. In this role, you will support custom applications including the Billing App, DOSIS App, and MTS Robot App, while ensuring key hardware and specialized printing systems (Canon, Zebra, and Tharo printers) function seamlessly. By serving as a primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting, you will play an essential role in optimizing pharmacy operations and supporting reliable healthcare technology delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide initial Level 1 technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Pharmscript custom applications, including Billing App, DOSIS App, and MTS Robot App.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized pharmacy printing hardware, including Canon, Zebra, and Tharo printers.
  • Receive, log, categorize, and track technical service requests and incidents using enterprise ticketing systems, ensuring resolution within target SLAs.
  • Perform basic hardware peripheral troubleshooting and verify network connectivity for workstations and supported pharmacy equipment.
  • Document common technical issues, solutions, and standard operating procedures to maintain an updated internal knowledge base.
  • Escalate complex application or hardware incidents to Level 2 and Level 3 support teams or application developers as necessary.
  • Communicate clearly with end-users to guide them through application functionality, basic access configuration, and operational steps.
  • Execute routine system maintenance checks and equipment inspections to ensure high technical availability.
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
  • High school Diploma
  • 6+ months of experience in technical support, helpdesk, desktop support, or IT operations.
  • 6+ months of experience troubleshooting custom software or enterprise applications.
  • 6+ months of hands-on experience installing, configuring, or troubleshooting commercial or industrial printers (e.g., Zebra, Canon, Tharo, or thermal printers).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience logging, tracking, and managing user support tickets through to resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot workstation OS, hardware peripherals, and basic network connectivity.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, or clinical technology environments.
  • Knowledge of Frameworks and Docutrack Pharmscript Applications.

The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $59.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
