Software Engineering Intern

We currently seek a Software Engineering Intern to help support our Product Realization Center and Manufacturing efforts in our Somerset location.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Participate in site safety programs including behavioral safety and use of proactive safety reviews

* Partner with engineering team to understand assembly and test system communication pathways

* Work independently on value-added software update or integration projects

* Exhibit understanding of software architecture and system infrastructure; review and advise on potential improvements

* Create documentation relevant to projects or project work to support sustained improvements

* Perform other related duties as required.

Key Qualification Preferences

* Experience programming some or all production-relevant software platforms (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Node.js, SQL, Python, Labview, SCADA, Linux)

* Evidence of project management aptitude

* Experience in a manufacturing setting
