Manufacturing Skilled Operator 12 Hour Night 6PM to 6AM
This is a hands-on individual contributor production role requiring expertise in multiple manufacturing disciplines, including CNC machining, manual tacking, lamination, engraving, and card finishing. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who can adapt to different functions as needed to support production goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC machines, lamination systems, engraving systems, and/or card finishing equipment to produce high-quality components.
- Perform tacking operations with precision and in accordance with production requirements.
- Inspect and verify output quality at each stage, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production data, process parameters, and quality checks through our ERP input tools or manual documentation.
- Flex between functions and workstations based on production demand or team capacity.
- Rapidly adapt to changes in workflow, priorities, and scheduling to support production goals.
- Collaborate with supervisors and planners to address bottlenecks or resource gaps in our Lead Daily Management solution.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Report malfunctions or hazards promptly to minimize downtime and risk.
- Independently can select program files and adjust offsets according to material thickness
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience required.
- 3+ years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: CNC, tacking, lamination, engraving, card finishing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD files.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and support team flexibility.
- Preferred:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. - Preferred:
Understanding of ISO or other quality management systems. - Basic computer literacy for equipment interfaces, reporting, and tracking.
- Basic knowledge of using measurement tools such as depth gauges, micrometers, and caliper
