South Plainfield, NJ
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) Manufacturing Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain production machinery in a high-volume manufacturing facility. Responsible for running specialized packaging and tube filling equipment, performing routine sanitation and machine cleaning, and maintaining continuous operational flow.
- Set up, calibrate, operate, and clean industrial manufacturing machinery, including tube filling systems and general packaging equipment.
- Perform routine machine sanitation, wipe-downs, and minor component cleanings between product runs or shift changes to maintain sanitary standards.
- Execute equipment inspections, changeovers, and basic operational adjustments to prevent downtime.
- Monitor machine performance and material flow to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production.
- Inspect finished goods to verify quality, weight, seal integrity, and packaging compliance.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with team members and supervisors.
- Previous hands-on machine operation and equipment cleaning experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment required.
- Direct experience operating and maintaining tube filling machines or packaging line equipment preferred.
- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail regarding sanitation and safety standards.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
