Lab Assistant - Centrifuge Operator

A technology company specializing in advanced materials develops and manufactures products for energy storage, electronics, and coatings, with a strong focus on nanotechnology and battery innovations. It partners with research institutions and industrial clients to commercialize next-generation materials, particularly for lithium-ion and emerging battery chemistries. Our Client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring centrifuge equipment, preparing and handling samples, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Additional duties include cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment, assisting technical staff with experiments, and performing general laboratory support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor centrifuge machinery safely and efficiently. Prepare, label, and process laboratory samples. Maintain accurate documentation and test records. Follow laboratory safety procedures and company protocols. Clean, inspect, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas. Assist scientists and technicians with routine laboratory activities.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous laboratory experience required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
